CE United's History
Combat Evolved United was founded in 2005 as a result of three clans merging together with one similar goal. The clan’s goal was to provide an environment for a community of gamers to come together and seize new and old releases across various consoles to enjoy with one another amongst the community. Hell Jumpers, Nemesis, and 1 Eyed Warriors were the founding clans each with their own background. Hell Jumpers was an AGP tournament clan based from Davison, MI. The members of Hell Jumpers hosted a rotating LAN every other weekend alternating the host. Nemesis was a tournament clan as well based from Coloma; MI. Nemesis hosted a LAN once a week as well but used the same house each time. Both clans meet for the first time in December of 2004 at a halo 2 tournament in Port Huron, Michigan at Extreme Gaming a local gaming center. Despite the physical distance between both clans, numerous members became good friends rather quickly. 1 Eyed Warriors was an Xbox Live clan that had no true tournament exposure. Randomly matched up, both clans meet for the first time in an epic battle with one another. Shortly following the match, 1 Eyed Warriors joined CE United’s rankings among its members. CE United may have not formed until Halo 2’s release, but its spirit was always alive in all three clans ever since Halo Combat Evolved, hence the clan’s name, Combat Evolved United, United We Stand!

We started this website in May of 2008; we had a good run for a little more then a year. We played some great clans and had a lot of fun doing it. You can read about our clan matches on our Stats page, you can also check out our Friends page for links to the clans we did play.

In May of 2009 our site was up for renewal, with lack of interest in the clan I heavily debated shutting down ceunited.com. I did not want that to happen I did not want CE United to just fizzle away after all the hard work I put into this site.

CE United restructuring
So here we are I finally decided on my own on what to do with the CE United name. As of right now we will not part take in clan matches, the roots of CE United started with a clan, but now I’m changing that direction at the moment. This is not to say we will never again be a clan site, right now it’s not in our best interest to do clan matches.

So where does that leave CE United, hopefully over the summer I will be updating some of our pages to better suit our new direction. As for now, CE United will be a Halo community site dedicated to interviewing members of the Halo community.  In a segment I like to call. “20 questions with “insert name” get to know the man or woman inside the Spartan armor”

Later this summer I hope to announce another project I am very excited about, so check back with us to see what that might be.
